New statue concept model for Buena Vista Street in DCA. While I really like the design and style, this worries me a bit: “He is located on the ground, not on a pedestal or planter, so that he is accessable to guests – “one of us.” Quote from Disney Parks blog.
While not Disney’s fault, if the statue isn’t somehow blocked off or in a planter, I expect we’ll be seeing a lot of jokey/bad taste photos with Walt here…I hope they thought that through in advance. CM’s watching and telling people not to take photos of in poor taste things wouldn’t go over well either.
